Ken creates visual communication solutions for print and digital while engaging and educating audiences through branding, advertising, communications, website, annual reports, and presentations.
Ken believes great design is simple and practical. This passion extends to his graphic design and photography projects. Being involved in both corporate and church life ensures a diverse and relevant perspective.
For fun, Ken likes making spicy salsa, smoking ribs and cycling. Ken and his wife, Teresa, enjoy travelling and taking long walks in pursuit of great food!
Donloree Hoffman Expertise:
Human Resources Specialist Church HR
Donloree is a talented communicator and Human Resources Specialist who leverages her abilities to help businesses and teams deliver strategic and effective HR functions. As a CTI trained coach with over 400 hours of coaching and over a decade of business leadership in both the for and not-for profit sectors, she brings a diverse set of skills to every team she works with.
Donloree has experience as the HR Director for one of the largest churches in Canada, and as a part of the Executive team, she has developed a leadership framework for a staff of over 60 pastors and administrators and hundreds of volunteers, while simultaneously leading all HR functions for a church of over 2,000 attendees. She is an effective and skilled presenter and is fully engaged in every project she takes on.
Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Theology, trained as a CTI Coach, and certified with the John Maxwell Leadership Team, Donloree continues to engage in further training and development. When she isn't coaching or consulting, she can be found in the mountains on her bike, running long distances or cooking a great meal to share with friends and family.
Rebecca Schnell Expertise:
Children Specialist Communications
Rebecca has served in a church ministry context for more than 15 years, with experience as a Children's Ministry Director in 3 different contexts in both Canada and the USA. She is passionate about seeing Children's ministry championed in healthy, sustainable and scalable approaches that meets the needs of today's kids and parents.
More recently, her role as a Creative Communicator at Foothills Alliance Church has allowed her to utilize and strengthen her skills in strategic planning, systems implementation, compelling storytelling and team building.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from the University of Calgary and during her 10 years serving in the mid-western United States, she was sought out as a special speaker and workshop facilitator in Children's Ministry for regional conferences, Children's Ministry class at spring Arbor University and for General Conference of the Free Methodist Church USA. Currently, Rebecca performs with Fun&Faith, across Canada facilitating Bravehearted Boys and Bravehearted Girls events for parents, mentors and children.
Rebecca and her husband, Adam, enjoy independent movies and home roasted coffee. They have 2 children and three of the four Schnells would consider themselves theatre artists with the youngest just waiting for a turn!
Dave Brotherton Expertise:
Youth Specialist Youth Ministry
Strategic Long Term Planning
Dave has experience serving in youth ministry for over 30 years. It all started with a part-time, summer staff position with YFC hamilton in 1979. Since then, he has served as a Youth Pastor in three churches: a small rural church in Saskatchewan, and after earning a master's degree in film school, a big church in small town Ontario and finally a small church that eventually grew into a huge multisite church in Calgary.
Dave has also had eight years of experience teaching about youth ministry at Ambrose University and was the National Youth Director for the Alliance Churches in Canada from 1999 to 2014.
With his wife, Lisa and two teenage kids, Dave lives at Ontario's best beach - the relaxing cottage town of Sauble Beach where he leads a church and speaks into youth ministry from a Senior Pastor's perspective. Dave fishes, golfs, camps, rides a motorcycle and is quickly developing the habit of enjoying the amazing Lake Huron sunsets!
